Impact Minds is designed to facilitate connections with leaders from the impact ecosystem.
For this, we work with different session formats.
Sharing Collective
Sharing Collective
This format is an informal roundtable on a specific topic in small groups. The session kicks off with 3-5 speakers presenting initial perspectives and continues with wide participation from attendees. It is hoped that the session may advance the discussion on a given topic and/or foster opportunities for collaboration among participants.
WORKSHOPS
Workshops
The workshops are intended to teach participants new skills, tools or
methodologies and are facilitated by speakers and organizations that are a
reference in the topic addressed. Participants are generally expected to leave the session with a clear idea of when, how, and why to apply what was shared.
Inspiring Talks
Inspiring Talks
These are very fluid talks, performed without notes. Using the ted talk style, which are minimalist, with few slides or just one. They can be based on the speaker’s life story, organizational strategies and narratives, or have a more abstract approach, for example by proposing an innovative financial model.

About Oaxaca and Accommodation
This year our Conference will take place in the City of Oaxaca. Oaxaca is a state rich in culture, history, biodiversity and linguistics.
Home of 16 indigenous communities, it is the state with the largest indigenous population in Mexico, the second most biodiverse state with ancient traditions and customs that remain today.
And as a small city, Oaxaca has limitations on available accommodation.

In Rio, our delegation participated in the Latimpacto Forum, where more than 500 innovators, social entrepreneurs, government ministers and representatives from philanthropic organizations came together to learn about each other’s good work, to explore opportunities for new collaborations, and to identify ways to amplify the impact of their work in every sector of the ecosystem of social justice and sustainability.
This conference was about the power of proximity. How it allows us to be close to one another, close to the issue, and close to the communities we intend to serve.
Today, much of our work focuses on climate change. We see its impact in Latin America — from landslides to prolonged droughts. More importantly, we recognize the leadership and work being done in the region to combat the effects of the climate crisis.
